About Taiwan eVisa

Taiwan's eVisa system was introduced in 2016. This system aims to provide a convenient and efficient way for international travelers to visit Taiwan. Tourists can apply for eVisa using smart devices with strong internet connections without having to stand in long lines at the embassy.

Currently, Taiwan eVisa has two categories of eVisa, which are: 

• Taiwan tourist e-visa: This visa is valid for 90 days, allowing its holders to stay in the country for up to 30 days with single entry.
• Taiwan business e-visa: This visa has a 90-day validity term and only permits one entry. Tourists can stay 30 days from their arrival date for professional purposes, such as to attend conferences, seminars, or lectures.

We have developed a streamlined online platform designed to simplify the visa application process, significantly reducing the time and effort required in comparison to obtaining a traditional visa. Travelers can choose three options depending on their demands:

• Normal: For those who need an e-visa within three business days.
• Urgent: People who need an e-visa within one business day can use this service
• Super Urgent:  If you require an e-visa within 5 business hours, select this service.

We recommend that travelers submit their eVisa applications at least one week before their intended travel dates. It's important to be aware that not all nationalities are eligible for this type of visa.
